Stephanie Dale is an award-winning journalist and author with a background of 25 years in media, politics and publishing.
She is a skilled media trainer and writing coach whose passions are walking very long distances and writing.
Stephanie has published two books: the travel memoir My Pilgrim’s Heart and the novel Hymn for the Wounded Man, which won the 2011 Independent Publisher Book Award for Best Fiction (Australia/NZ).
Steph is the founder of The Write Road, which makes writing support available to new writers in isolated places, and Walk and Write, which combines her twin passions for walking and writing. She also set up The Four Rights, which claims a small piece of cyber real estate to be tended further down the track. The Four Rights is dedicated to the restoration of the commons, and to finding new ways of sharing the planet Earth, making way for all its people (not just those privileged by the current economic system) and its creatures, on their own terms.
